Commercial water damage was sustained by this Chicago office building when a plumbing failure occurred. The before photo shows how wet the carpeting in the hallway was. The property managers of this commercial facility were referred to SERVPRO, and we responded immediately to their call. We first extracted the standing water from the carpeting and then we removed the vinyl baseboard to allow us to dry the lower wall area that the water had wicked up on. We provided the job site with sufficient water removal equipment and then set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid in the drying process.
